The Trouble Cats have been around for about ten years, and their reputation for being the most outstanding Danish rhythm'n'blues band is undisputed.

Trouble Cats

The CD "Plugged" is the latest production from The Trouble Cats. It was issued in October '92 by the record company Intermusic (INTCD 008). The CD contains 11 original The Trouble Cat songs recorded live on eight different venues around Denmark.  "Plugged" is recorded and produced by The Trouble Cats.

In November '90 the first The Trouble Cats album saw the light. The LP is named "Risky Business" and it came out on Olufsen Records (DOC 5107). “Risky Business” also contains 10 original songs, and the LP enjoyed fine reviews by critics.

The Trouble Cats is a hard working band and they are touring constantly all over Denmark, playing the clubs, collegies and universities.

Over the years the band has of course appeared at all the major blues festivals in Denmark: Djurs Bluesland '88 and '91 - Copenhagen Blues Festival '90 - Holstebro Jazz'n'Blues festival '90 and '91 - Elsinore Blues Festival '91 - Aarhus Blues Weekend '89, '90, '91 and '92. Further more The Trouble Cats made a tour of Poland '89 and Sweden '92/'93.

The Trouble Cats have made several appearances featuring various soloists.  Amongst others: Diz Watson (piano/voc.  Djurs Bluesland '91, John Whitehill (guitar, Poul Lamb & The Kingsnakes, Aarhus Festival Week '91), James Loveless (voc.  Aarhus Festival Week '90, '92 and '93), Troels Jensen and Louise Brüel (Aarhus Festival Week '92, '93 and Tunø Festival '93).
