Over the latest years this band has often at the european jazzscene been claimed as one of the foremost bands of the world today in the New Orleans original ensemble style. Apart from the clarinetplayer all musicians in the band are between 45 and 51 years old and are well experienced in the New Orleans style now, since they all started as young promising talents 25 to 30 years ago.

The only exception here is the clarinetman who is only 29 years but far from just being a talent. He is all ready musically developed and plays a tremendous style like George Lewis. For such a young musician it is unusually to be clever enough not to copy George Lewis note for note in the figures. He waits with the George stuff till it comes naturally and through his own context. The band plays with such spirit going against the climax on the ensemble at the end - you wouldn’t believe it, but you have to go with it and cut loose. Its a real festivalband that lifts the audience of the ground.
