The Elizabeth Hersing Ensemble is:

Heine Steensen, violin.
Aside from being a classical guitarist, Elizabeth Hersing has for a number of years been engaged in singing and songwriting. With the formation of the new Elizabeth Hersing Ensemble, these songs have now become available to a wider audience.
With the combination of highly trained classical musicians and equally skilled musicians known from the Danish rock scene, the Elizabeth Hersing Ensemble presents an intriguing blend of genres. The melodic tunes are truly a mixture of different styles such as classical music, hymns, folk- and pop music. This of course is underlined by the interesting mixture of sounds from the different instruments. The lyrics are often lyrical and reflective.
The Elizabeth Hersing Ensemble performs in churches as well as concert halls and is featured on music society programs. |
