Maravilla is a spanish rumba-
salsa-latin-jazz-pop-rock-
techno-world-music band, wich has been existing the last four years.

In this period of time we have played more than 400 concerts, all over Scandinavia.

We play many different styles, mainly original compositions, and we only sing in spanish, so the music we play always has a kind of spanish-latin air blended with another elements.

We are based in Copenhagen, (Denmark),with members of different nationalities.

At the front are two spaniards: Gonzalo Elexpuru (Songwriter,vocals and lead guitar) and Santiago Ibarreche (Songwriter,vocals,guitar,sax, flute and hand percussion). Rolf Vedel Petersen from Denmark plays latin percussion,vocals and sampler live effects. Fernando de Marco from Brasil plays electric bass. Makiko Hirabayasi from Japan plays piano and keyboards. Anders Pedersen also from Denmark plays drums.

In May 97,came to the danish market our first record entitled: MARAVILLA-“SA-KA-LA MUSIKA“
